Prayer Team

The prayer team is a group that meets Wednesday evenings, 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm, to bring the prayer needs of the church, individuals, the nation and our missionaries to the throne room of our Father. 

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil. 4:6)  As we gather, we expect that where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Mt. 18:20)  Prayer is a powerful privilege that we as Children of the Living God have been given.  “The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.” (Rev. 8:4) 

Girls Ministries:

Stars

The Girls Ministries Stars club is for girls in grades 3-5 and meets Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm.  We have lessons that show the girls what the Bible says about issues they come up against at this age.

Friends

The Girls Ministries Friends club is for girls in grades 6-8 and meets Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm.  We have lessons that show the girls what the Bible says about issues they come up against at this age. 

ESL Classes:

This class is to teach those members who wish to  learn to speak English.

Other Ministries

Motion for Missions

Every year VAOG chooses a missionary to highlight in a program called Motion for Missions.  We take a virtual trip to that location and learn about other missionaries along the way.  Miles traveled are earned through exercise.  For every 10 minutes of exercise, we record one mile toward our goal.  Each mile earned is also a way to raise donations from our friends and families.  As we exercise, we pray for that missionary and others. 

If you want to participate, just choose an exercise program and record your activities every month on the VAOG website.  We encourage you to tell your friends and family about the missionaries need and to contribute support on the website.  We provide updates once a month on Missions Sunday. 

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.” (Ro. 12:1)

Second Monday - Women's Get Together

This takes place the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Fellowship:

Begins at 9:15 am in the fellowship area.  Coffee, tea, hot cocoa and muffins are served.

Sunday School Classes:

Meets Sunday morning from 9:30 am - 10:15 am. We'd love to have you join us.

Kindergarten

The Kindergarten Class is for kindergarte age children.  We enjoy Bible stories, prayer, scripture memory verses, and fun times together.  We'd love to have you join us!

Middlers

The Middler Class is for 1st - 4th graders.  We enjoy Bible stories, prayer, scripture memory verses, and fun times, together.  We'd love to have you join us!

Youth

The Youth Class is for 7th -12th graders.  We enjoy Bible study, prayer, scripture memory verses, and fun times, together.  We'd love to have you join us!

Adults

The Adult Class enjoys Christian life studies, and prayer.
