The Scripture Readings:
The Scriptures that are read each Sunday during the worship service come from the "Revised Common Lectionary." The Lectionary is a series of scripture readings that is designed to take the church through the entire Bible over 3 years. Many, many churches from several denominations use these readings in their churches each Sunday. To learn more about the Lectionary or to see what's coming this week, go to the Revised Common Lectionary's website from the Vanderbilt Divinity Library.
