Christmas with Friends

This Advent Season, we will be hanging out with some of our friends each Sunday, catching up on how the Lord is at work in different areas of life.  Advent invites us to refresh our longing and strengthen our waiting muscles. Doing it with friends can make all the difference!

Jesus proclaimed:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,

for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,

that the blind will see,

that the oppressed will be set free,

and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come."  Luke 4:18-19 NLT

Each Sunday we will explore with friends ways this good news is impacting lives.

December 10, we will hear from our friend Wil Stroman from Urban Outreach in Washington, DC - learning about how Christ's coming makes a difference for families facing a variety of needs.  Watch livestream here.

December 17, we will hear from one of our own, Susan Stiles, sharing about her journey with a rare medical condition. You will be inspired and encouraged!

Follow up: Today was a really special day! Although we were unable to livestream, we do have an audio link to share. The sound quality is below our normal standards, but we hope you are encouraged by this message.

December 24 we will have our Christmas Eve service in the morning at our regular 11:00 am service time.
